Dear friends and valued clients;
Over the past 27 years, it has been my great pleasure to serve you and your valued clients. When I started the company, it was with the dream of being able to provide a better life for my family, but it became so much more, and to say that I am amazed at how it has grown over the years would be an understatement. The relationships I have made over the years have added a richness to my life, one that has made it better than I can even put into words.
Personally, and professionally each of you has poured into my life, each day was a learning experience and one that forced me to grow, both as a person and as a business owner. The success of Rodent Pest Technologies, Inc. cannot be attributed to merely myself, without my amazing staff I would have never been able to accomplish all that, we as a company, have throughout the years.
I’m not sure if it's every business owner, but I feel incredibly blessed to have the people come through this door willing to join me side by side in my vision of creating a company that cared. One that developed more technologically over time yet still held onto that small company feel, in our attitudes towards those we serve and those that were here to serve. Day in and day out I worked side by side with people I call my family.
It is because of that love that earlier this year I realized that the company and the people that call it home needed something more. I began looking for a company I could partner with that would care for the needs of those we service, and the staff. When I began that journey, in all honesty, I didn’t think there was a company that existed that would fill both of my heart’s desires.
In early February I did find such a company, Certus Pest. I met with them and they told me of their vision of “People first, Quality Service and Building Lifetime Customers” all of these values aligned with my vision then and now for the company. It was after a meeting with their team that I decided to sell Rodent Pest Technologies, Inc. to them. The sale was completed on June 1st, 2020.
Already they are showing themselves to be true to their word, the care and concern they have for the staff, and for the services we provide is apparent. They immediately began helping to implement systems that make the company I have worked so hard to create better, not just in their service to you the client, but to those who go out day in and day out to provide you the service that you have come to depend on to meet your needs and those of your trusted clientele.
Rest assured, the staff that is caring for you today is the same staff that will care for you tomorrow. Our name, work ethic, and commitment excellence as a company hasn’t changed. What has changed, my loyal staff has the confidence and backing of people that care as much as I do, people that can provide them with more, in the way of advancement and opportunity. They have a team of people who know and understand how to help a company advance so my staff can call this their forever home.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your many years of support and confidence, it means a lot, more than you may know. James Gammill, whom many of you have come to know and work with will be stepping into my role and running the day to day operations, which he has been doing for the past several months already. He has been with the company for over 13 years and has already brought a passion and vision to the company. The management staff, supervisor, office, and technicians who provide service to you on a daily basis, are all still here, and excited about what tomorrow holds.
